Actually I heard sleep disorders can make you gain weight, have risk of getting heart disease and have risk for diabetes. You weight loss could be something else. See a doctor.

its the opposite, when you dont sleep you gain weight but if you arent careful by your 40’s if you dont get your sleep under control you will be a good canidate for fibromyalgia. I have had fibromyalgia for 8 years and sleep is very difficult to come by….your central nervous system goes haywire and your neurotransmitters dont make connection. you really need to get your sleep, and if you can they say that 20 minutes of good yoga is equal to 8 hours of sleep, i havent tried the yoga yet but have heard that its true. if you continue not sleeping even if you sleep for 2-3 hours its not good enough, your body heals and there are so many crucial things that happen in your sleep that keep you healthy. you really need to see a dr if you cant sleep . I would keep a journal of everything you do and anything that you stress about for a month and give to the dr when you see him/her they will be able to make a much better diagnosis..it could be as small as something you eat or something you are stressing about to something that is major and it takes the help of a dr.

I was size 0 and weighed 103 all my life , I had a daughter in 1983 age 21 and worked all the time, burned the candle at both ends might say never enough time in a day and took great care of everyone else but put myself last and was very healthy in beginning but after 17 years was diagnosed with fibromyagia in 2000…I tried to be supermom and superwife and supermaid you know what i mean…so please take care of it now and take care of yourself you have to get sleep …there are very crucial physical things that happen when you sleep. I am having brain fog right now and cant think of the name of what processes takes place when u sleep..i keep thinking its neurotransmitters that form and they are the part of your brain that sends correct messages to the body ….mine doesnt…it sends all types of wrong messages and thats the largest part of fibromyalgia …sleep is crucial wish i would have known then what i know now maybe wouldnt be cursed with this awful disease. sincerely teri
